Family support services at children’s centres
Children’s centres offer a range of support services to all children aged 0-5 years old and their families.
These are called universal services and include:
- Early education and childcare
- Sessional care, eg playgroups
- Health services, eg midwives and health visits
- Parenting support
- Family support
- Support for parents looking for training or job opportunities.
