About Reece and Jaiden

Reece and Jaiden are in foster care through no fault of their own. Both children experienced chaotic parenting, parental domestic violence and neglect in their birth family. This meant that when they arrived in foster care, they were very anxious and frightened children who struggled to play with toys. With the help of their foster carer, they have settled well into the foster family and are growing in confidence. They enjoy playing dress up as doctors, firemen or as pirates. Both boys like feeding the ducks at a local park and watching TV, Transformers and paw patrol are their favourite shows!

They will need an adoptive family who can maintain their current routines as this has helped both children to reduce their worries. They are well settled into heir bedtime routine and enjoy their bedtime stories before going to sleep. Both Reece and Jaiden sleep through the night.

They have settled well into a good routine and they will need an adoptive family who can support them to continue this. They will also need encouragement to help them to continue to make healthy food choices rather than relying on fast foods.

Reece and Jaiden enjoy school, where they have both made friends and especially enjoy story time. Their teachers share that they are very popular, kind and active boys. Reece has slight delayed speech and is getting support with this through his school. Due to their early experiences in their parental home, Reece and Jaiden have weekly therapy to help them explore their feelings. This takes place at school and really enjoy this time.

Both Reece and Jaiden are physically healthy and active. They are also both very tactile and enjoy being tickled and having cuddles with their foster carer.

Could you adopt Reece and Jaiden?

Reece and Jaiden need an adoptive family who can welcome them both, love them and care for them into adulthood. They need a family who can put their needs first and help them to develop their identity as they grow.

It doesn’t matter if you rent or own your own home, what your sexuality or gender identity is or if you are single, in a stable relationship or married, if you think you could be Reece and Jaiden’s forever family, we would love to hear from you.
