Help change a child’s life by recruiting more foster carers
Birmingham Children’s Trust are offering the exciting opportunity for a creative marketing and social media agency to help them recruit more foster carers.
The Trust is responsible for delivering children’s social care services to children and families in Birmingham. They want to talk to a marketing and social media agency about creating a innovative two-pronged recruitment campaign, aimed at recruiting new foster carers and adopters. Agencies should be able to demonstrate an understanding of children’s social care and be experts in effective social media campaigns and marketing.
Jeanette Young, Interim Director of Commissioning and Innovation for the Trust said, “This is a great opportunity for a local agency to work with us to help recruit more foster carers and adopters. We are looking for quality of enquiries rather than quantity, so we want an agency who can really get under the skin of our target groups. Helping children and young people get a secure foster placement, or be permanently adopted, is life changing for both the adults and young people involved so this a fantastic chance for an agency to really make a positive difference”.
Agencies are advised that this is an initial market testing exercise, and should the Trust decide to proceed, then a full procurement process will be undertaken in May/June 2018.
