Independent Visitors (IV's)
Will an Independent Visitor need training?
Yes. You will need to complete the Independent Visitor Training before being approved as a volunteer.
The training includes sessions on:
- the role of an Independent Visitor
- safeguarding children
- communication: and
- confidentiality.
This list is not extensive as all IV’s will be supported and receive training they need to effectively deliver their role.
