VIY Birmingham Project
Volunteer It Yourself (VIY) projects offer people who are unemployed or economically inactive work experience and:
- Bite-sized volunteering opportunities to learn construction trade skills and boost their employability
- Mentoring on site by professional tradespeople
- Opportunity to gain Entry Level 3 City & Guilds trade skills accreditations (minimum 3 days commitment)
- Participation in employability workshops
- Support and guidance to young people interested in exploring further opportunities in the trade and construction sector
- Support in taking steps to gaining CSCS cards is also available (limited)
- Flexibility in scheduling

When: 8th December - 19th December
Time: 10:00- 15:00
What: Carpentry/ Painting and Decorating
Who: 18-21 yr old, Birmingham residents
