Choose Adoption, Choose a Life Less Ordinary

Published: 29th Jun 2022

Birmingham Children’s Trust is delighted to join the latest national adoption campaign.

A new national campaign, titled ‘A Life Less Ordinary’, aims to find loving families for children who often wait the longest to be adopted.

Who are the children?

We need adopters for children of all ages. In Birmingham, we are particularly looking for adopters for brothers and sisters, toddlers and young children aged four and older, children with disabilities and children from black and minority ethnic groups.

In Birmingham, children from these groups represent 69% of all children currently waiting to be placed with an adoptive family. Whilst these children often wait the longest for adoptive families, they are not harder to love than any other children.
