Trust shortlisted for 2024 Local Government Chronicle Awards

Birmingham Children’s Trust are finalists in the ‘Children’s Services’ category of the 2024 Local Government Chronicle (LGC) Awards.
The nomination recognises the progress made in the improvement of children’s services in Birmingham since the Trust was established in 2018, culminating in Ofsted rating all services as Good last year.
The winner will be announced later this year.
Andy Couldrick, Chair of Birmingham Children’s Trust, said: “We are delighted to be shortlisted in the Children’s Services category of the 2024 LGC Awards. To gain recognition amongst our peers is recognition of our commitment to sustained improvement delivering services to safeguard and support children and families across the city.
“Working alongside our partners, including, of course, Birmingham City Council, and our official charity, Bfriends, we are excited to have our progress acknowledged, and we have ambitious plans for further improvement. Our staff right across the Trust can be proud that their efforts have been recognised."
