Access to adoption records

I am related to an adopted person who is now deceased

I wish to have access to their adoption records to trace their birth relatives.

You can apply to an Intermediary Agency for a service to facilitate contact with a birth relative if you have a prescribed relationship.

The Agency can use their discretion to release information to you so that you can obtain a copy of the deceased relative’s birth certificate.

There will be a charge for these services.
