If you have any difficulty in finding a carer or accessing the services you think you need then please let your Social Worker or Family Support Worker know as soon as possible so that they can arrange alternative support for you or change you over to a managed account.
Remember, Direct Payments are not suitable for everyone and you don’t have to pay for care in this way if you don’t want to.
Please talk to your Social Worker or Family Support Worker or get in touch with the Disabled Children’s Social Care Service to talk about alternative arrangements.
