West Midlands Placement Portal

A new West Midlands Placement Portal (WMPP) will be launched in Spring 2026, replacing the existing WMPP which is no longer adequate to meet the needs of its users.

The new user-centric children's placement portal is designed to streamline placement processes, enhance data accuracy, and offer valuable insights for planning and assessing value for money. By integrating brokerage, digitised contracting processes, and supporting market management, this intuitive portal aims to deliver positive outcomes for children placed in care.

The new portal will support our vision for the placement of children in the West Midlands:

"To deliver positive outcomes that meet the needs of our children in care by finding the right home, in the right place, at the right time’’.
